Filming Wraps on Season 3 of Daredevil: Born Again as Fans Fear Cancellation

Marvel Studios has wrapped filming on the third season of Daredevil: Born Again.

Showrunner Dario Scardapale announced the end of production and thanked the cast and crew:

“Sorry for the silence, but filming on season 3 of Daredevil: Born Again is officially wrapped. Thank you to Marvel, as well as the phenomenal cast and crew who made this season something very, very, very special. I am in awe every single day of the talent of the people I’ve been lucky enough to work with. I can’t wait for you to see what all these crazy minds came up with.”

Following the completion of production, fans have questioned the future of the series. Studio leadership previously hoped to release new seasons annually, but Marvel has not yet announced a fourth season. The recent cancellation of Wonder Man demonstrated that even preliminary approval for a continuation no longer guarantees its release. The second season of Wonder Man, starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, was canceled after contracts had already been signed with the actors and pre-production on the script had begun.

The third season will reunite characters from Marvel’s street-level lineup. Krysten Ritter returned as Jessica Jones in the second season, while the upcoming episodes will feature Luke Cage and Iron Fist, played by Mike Colter and Finn Jones. Jessica Henwick also discussed returning as Colleen Wing, but declined because she was unhappy with the proposed storyline for her character.

Premiering new episodes of Daredevil: Born Again is scheduled for March 2027.
