Filming has officially commenced in the scenic Karachay-Cherkess Republic for the brand-new comedy series Gornolyzhka (Ski Resort). The show features Nikolay Naumov, widely recognized for his iconic role in Realnye Patsany, as the lead protagonist.
The series is a collaborative effort between 1-2-3 Production, ANO “IRI,” the TNT channel, and the Premier streaming platform. The inaugural season will consist of 17 episodes, though an official premiere date has not yet been finalized.
Naumov portrays Misha, a world-weary crane operator who decides to abandon his gritty life at a provincial port in the town of Zavodskoy for a fresh start at an elite ski resort. His journey takes a romantic turn as he develops feelings for the resort’s manager, Katya (Polina Maximova). However, a significant obstacle stands in his way: Katya is in a serious relationship with Denis (David Manukyan), the wealthy owner of the very port Misha recently left behind. This volatile love triangle threatens to transform life at the resort into a relentless series of comedic disasters, putting both the resort’s smooth operation and the characters’ personal happiness on thin ice.
The supporting cast includes Oleg Savostyuk, Sergey Stepin, Alevtina Tukan, Oleg Taktarov, and Yulia Volkova. Alexander Nazarov (The Belyakovs on Vacation) is at the helm as director, with Tina Kandelaki serving as one of the project’s producers.
