Fearwoods shows new trailer, screenshots and roadmap for co-op horror
Fearwoods has refreshed its Steam page with a new trailer, updated screenshots and a development roadmap. The online co-op survival horror game is being built by a solo indie developer and is moving from a playable demo toward Early Access.
The game sends players into a cursed forest where light, silence and teamwork matter as much as exploration. The group has to search for clues, learn the story of Aveline and escape before the supernatural threat closes in.
Roadmap from demo to full release
The current demo includes a partial map, basic Aveline behavior, fragmented narrative content, a small exploration area and online co-op. Early Access is planned to expand that into one full map with improved Aveline behavior, dynamic horror events, story fragments and larger exploration spaces.
The full version is planned around three chapters across three maps. The roadmap mentions advanced Aveline behavior, more dynamic horror events, ceiling crawling, reality distortions, chase events and a complete narrative structure.
A clearer look at the game
The new trailer and screenshots are meant to show the current visual direction more directly. Fearwoods is built around atmosphere and co-op tension rather than constant combat, so the updated media is important for showing how the forest, lighting and enemy behavior work together.
