Farruko Hypes Up a Neon-Drenched Rave in ‘Pepas’ Music Video: Exclusive

Farruko is not one to shy away from experimenting with different genres of music. He’s got hits under his belt in reggaeton, perreo, trap, reggae and, now, EDM with “Pepas.” The music video premieres exclusively on Billboard below.

Introduced to the world in June, “Pepas” — helmed by producers IAmChino, Sharo Towers, Keriel “K4G” Quiroz and Axel Rafael Quezada Fulgencio “Ghetto” — is an electronic jam with various live instrumentation including captivating trumpets and powerful drumbeats.

The track, quickly scaled the Billboard charts, currently sitting at No. 2 on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart and at No. 6 on Hot Latin Songs, further proving why it’s a summer anthem.

Directed by Mike Ho, the official music video brings the “Pepas” aura to life: an all-night-long rave with fireworks, dancers, men dressed in neon suits, and Farruko dancing on top of shipping containers. (Watch it exclusively below.)

In addition to his viral hit, the Puerto Rican artist prepares to hit the road with his La 167 tour kicking off Nov. 19 in San Diego’s Viejas Arena. The tour, presented for the most part by Loud and Live and Live Nation on select shows, is set to wrap up Feb. 20 in Chicago’s Rosemont Theatre. Tickets and dates are available via Farruko’s official website.
