This is the home stretch for Far Cry 6, which is about to land on all online stores and in stores for those who prefer to buy physical (topez it). Ubisoft is giving the promo campaign a boost and today invites us to immerse ourselves in music in the universe of Yara Island, the place where we will have to fight the army ofAntón Castillo, a dictator embodied in the game by the actor Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad, The Mandalorian). Available on YouTube for free listening, this is an opportunity to get an idea of the work of Pedro Bromfman, a composer who worked on the Narcos series or the Robocop reboot. There are 21 tracks in total and each one depicts a specific moment in the game.
The album is based on a very modern musical score, imbued with lush soundscapes, catchy percussion, organic instruments and a ton of synthesizers. We tried to capture the soul of Yara and her characters by anchoring the score in traditional Latin American and Caribbean music, while allowing ourselves the freedom to experiment with contemporary sounds, techniques and elements. All of this in the hope of creating something very fresh and unique.
