The album is based on a very modern musical score, imbued with lush soundscapes, catchy percussion, organic instruments and a ton of synthesizers. We tried to capture the soul of Yara and her characters by anchoring the score in traditional Latin American and Caribbean music, while allowing ourselves the freedom to experiment with contemporary sounds, techniques and elements. All of this in the hope of creating something very fresh and unique.
