While fans wait for the next installment in the franchise, some are anything but idle.
Bethesda recently reminded players about TES IV: Oblivion Remastered — prompted by the release of a physical edition.
The promotional artwork was designed to resemble an inventory screen, showing a disc for the TES IV Deluxe Edition remaster labeled with the date “October 13, 2025.”
In the image, some viewers read a possible release date for The Elder Scrolls in the loading indicator. The sequence “267 / 270” was interpreted as a hint pointing to “July 26, 2027.”
However, that date would fall on a Monday — an uncommon day for AAA launches — so many Bethesda fans have dismissed the theory as far-fetched.
