Fan-Made PC Port of Condemned 2: Bloodshot Released After 18 Years

Another brutal game has made its way to PC.

Gamers have recently been revisiting Condemned 2: Bloodshot, which was released in 2008. The game originally launched on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles, and players now have a way to play it on PC.

A modder named psxrestore has created an unofficial PC port of Condemned 2: Bloodshot. To accomplish this, they used the RexGlue-SDK tool, building the port on the Xbox 360 version of the game.

The source code for the Condemned2Recomp project has been published openly on GitHub in the psxrestore repository. The modder did not include the game files for Condemned 2: Bloodshot in the download, meaning players who want to try it will need to source an Xbox 360 disc image.

Condemned2Recomp is still in development, meaning it is not a final release and technical issues such as crashes may occur.

At present, keyboard and mouse support for the Condemned 2: Bloodshot PC port is still in development and work on it is ongoing. Right now, psxrestore recommends that gamers use a controller to play the port.

The original Condemned: Criminal Origins was delisted from sale on Steam and Xbox last year.
