Debit (the moniker of DJ, engineer, producer, and performer Delia Beatriz) has announced her new album The Long Count with a new song called “2nd Day.” The LP is due out February 18 via Modern Love. Check out “2nd Day” below.
The Long Count was made using a set of digital instruments developed by Beatriz from research into Mayan wind instruments—including whistles, ocarinas, flutes and trumpets—processed using machine learning techniques. Beatriz wrote, produced, and mixed her album, which was mastered by Rashad Becker.
