Netflix has formally commissioned a sixth season of its hit romantic comedy “Emily in Paris,” according to recent industry reports.
While specific plot details remain closely guarded, the renewal follows the show’s fifth season, which debuted in late 2025. In those episodes, the titular protagonist Emily Cooper (portrayed by Lily Collins) ventured beyond the French capital to embrace new adventures in Italy.
The series was developed by Darren Star, the creative force behind “Sex and the City.” Since its initial premiere in 2020, “Emily in Paris” has evolved into a global streaming phenomenon, consistently drawing high viewership numbers despite a polarized reception from television critics.
