“I’m certain they simply stand up each morning and be boring and delightful,” Elle King growls in her new music, “Naturally Pretty Girls,” the third single off her forthcoming sophomore LP, Shake the Spirit.
The tune, launched Friday (Sept. 21), follows King’s attribute swag and tongue-in-cheek lyrics, a sound followers missed since her 2015 album, Love Stuff. “I even heard that in class, she dated Leonardo DiCaprio/Just depart it to a fairly, fairly lady to wreck your day,” she sings within the refrain.
“I’m simply excited to place music out on the planet once more,” she beforehand instructed Billboard of her upcoming album. “Not simply me, however my entire band. We actually put our coronary heart and soul into all of this. It’s not similar to, ‘Oh, we need to play exhibits.’ We need to present individuals what we did.”
