Those who await Elden Ring like the Messiah will have to take their troubles patiently, FromSoftware and Bandai Namco Entertainment have indeed just announced the postponement of Elden Ring which was scheduled for January 21, 2022. The game will indeed arrive on the 25th. February, that is to say a small month late, which is not very serious in itself. In the message left by Hidetaka Miyazaki, we learn that the teams had to face certain obstacles, in particular due to the fact that “the depth and degree of freedom granted to the player, strategic in the game, requires special attention.” Faced with this postponement, FromSoftware still arrives with good news: their game will be playable from November during a beta test, or rather a Closed Network Test scheduled for November 12. Selected players will be able to experience the first hours of the title and get a hands-on look at the adventure, in return for helping the development team test the game’s online servers ahead of its release date.
The Elden Ring Closed Network Test will be playable November 12-15 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X | S during the following time frames:
November 12: 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. CET
