EA Sports FC 26 Developers to Patch Defensive Gaps Allowing Easy Goals at the Start of Halves

A “Kick Off” bug has recently gone viral within the EA Sports FC 26 community. A simple technique makes it possible to score very easy goals.
A gap in the defensive system has been found: using a particular movement combination, you can quickly carry the ball to the opponent’s goal and slot it in shortly after kickoff.
The developers of EA Sports FC 26 have responded — they are preparing targeted fixes:
“We have seen your reports about early goals and are working on improvements to defensive positioning that will be active only during kickoff situations.
We plan to roll out this update in early October and will inform you if anything changes.”
