Dune: Awakening Runs at 60 FPS on Consoles, Including Xbox Series S
Dune: Awakening has launched on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Xbox Series S runs the MMO at 60 fps, whereas the Series X version occasionally drops to roughly 54 frames per second.
Following its standout run on PC in 2025, Dune: Awakening is now available on consoles alongside a single-player mode and new storyline arcs.
Performance tests show that on the Series X, the game generally maintains 60 fps with respectable graphics quality, though occasional dips occur. In the 30 fps mode, the frame rate sometimes climbs to around 40 fps, which developers will likely address in a patch.
The Xbox Series S version is of particular interest. According to the Xbox Nation channel, the console sustains a stable 60 fps with virtually unnoticeable drops. This performance level was achieved by using a lower resolution than the Series X.
