Dune: Awakening Goes Gold Ahead of Console Release

Funcom announced that the console versions of the Dune multiplayer survival game have gone gold and will release on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on September 22, 2026.

Funcom reported that the console versions of Dune: Awakening are complete and have gone gold. This means that development of the game for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S is finished, and the release will take place on September 22, 2026.

The information was confirmed on the official X account of the game.

Dune: Awakening is an open-world multiplayer survival game set on the planet Arrakis. Players will be able to explore the desert, build bases, craft gear, and fight for survival alone or with other users.

Familiar characters and factions from the Dune universe will appear in the game.

The project released on PC in June 2025. The PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions will go on sale on September 22, 2026.
