Dua Lipa Goes Underground for ‘Future Nostalgia’ Medley at the 2021 Brit Awards

Dua Lipa traveled through the tube in style for her Future Nostalgia medley performance at the 2021 Brit Awards on Tuesday (May 11).

The pop star started wandering around what looked like the London Underground metro system, humming along to “Love Again” in her yellow overcoat before stumbling into the train and performing “Physical” in a completely different dress with the Union Jack design. She and her dancers then whizzed through to the stage of London’s O2 arena and continued the momentum by performing “Pretty Please,” “Hallucinate” and “Don’t Start Now” on the colorful stage.

Lipa is nominated in three categories this year, including album of the year for Future Nostalgia, British single for “Physical,” and female solo artist. She is in a five-way tie for most nominations, along with Arlo Parks, Celeste, Joel Corry and Young T & Bugsey.

The English pop star is the only artist nominated for both the top album and single awards. She could be headed for her second win for British single, a category she won two years ago for “One Kiss,” her collab with Calvin Harris. If she wins, Lipa will join Adele as the only female artist to be triumphant twice in the category. Lipa could also take home another female solo artist award after she won in that category in 2018.
