Dua Lipa Fans Want DaBaby Removed From ‘Levitating’ Remix After His Homophobic Rant

After DaBaby‘s homophobic rant at the Rolling Loud Miami festival Sunday (July 25), Dua Lipa‘s fans have asked the singer to remove the rapper from her remix of “Levitating” and add in Megan Thee Stallion instead.

“The ‘Levitating’ remix we deserve! F— DaBaby,” wrote one fan along with a home-brewed video of the original Dua video merged with Meg’s Phony PPL collab, “Fkn Around.”

Another fan had an ever better idea: “Can we get Dua Lipa to re-record the ‘Levitating’ remix with @lilnasx instead bc DaBaby is a homophobe.”

In videos shared on social media from the festival, DaBaby is heard onstage during his performance at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla., saying, “If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, then put your cellphone lighter up! Ladies, if your p—- smell like water, put your cellphone lighter up! Fellas, if you ain’t sucking d— in the parking lot, put your cellphone lighter up!”

After getting support from T.I. — who said he thought DaBaby had a right to express his opinion and said “everybody living in their truth” — DaBaby reacted to the backlash by telling anyone who wasn’t at the festival to observe his set in person to “shut the f— up.”

Billboard has reached out to reps for DaBaby and Dua Lipa.
