Drake is not just the Certified Lover Boy, he’s the Charitable Lover Boy.
The rapper, who just announced his long-awaited album Certified Lover Boy will arrive on Friday, gave one special fan another surprise. OVO superfan Rob posted on Instagram over the weekend that the Toronto rapper assisted his sister Dora by gifting her a 2021 Dodge Pro Master wheelchair conversion van, which Rob said will better serve them than his pickup truck that he used to take Dora to and from her doctor appointments.
“God is good. This has been a wild year, to say the least. My sister, Dora, was gifted a 2021 Dodge Pro Master wheelchair conversion van by @champagnepapi !” Rob captioned the Instagram post, which showed Rob, Dora and their family saying “Thank You” with a sign along with the van’s specs. “Those that know me, know he’s my favorite rapper/artist of all time. He has been a HUGE blessing for me and my family. Glad to call him brother and friend. I don’t have to use the pick up truck to take her to her appointments anymore. We can all ride comfortably, especially Dora, to her doctor appts with little effort. This has changed our lives for the better.”
“Love my g love to the family!!! Big wheels keep rolling!!!” Drake himself wrote back in the comments section.
On Monday morning, the 6 God finally revealed his sixth studio album CLB is coming at the end of the week by sharing an image of 12 expectant mom emojis on Instagram along with the all-caps message “CERTIFIED LOVER BOY SEPTEMBER 3.” Rob reposted the cover art on his own account, which Drake double-tapped. The rapper hinted at the LP’s imminent release last week on ESPN’s flagship program SportsCenter, sneaking in an image of a fan holding up a sign reading “CLB September 3” in between baseball highlights.
