Dove Cameron and Damiano David Marry in Italy After Three Years Together

Dove Cameron and Damiano David married in Italy on Thursday (Sept. 24) after three years together.

According to E!, the couple wed at Palazzo dei Priori in Montalcino in Tuscany. Online photos show both musicians wearing complementing white-and-cream outfits, with Cameron holding a lily bouquet, wearing a belted blazer and tie, and kissing David while walking cobbled streets.

The news arrives about eight months after the Descendants star and Måneskin frontman announced their engagement on Instagram. David wrote at the time that it would be a beautiful year.

The pair first met at the 2022 VMAs, where both earned nominations for best new artist, and celebrated their two-year anniversary the following October.

Cameron shared photos on Instagram of the two kissing in a restaurant to mark the occasion. She stated that life with him became so beautiful that it brought her to tears weekly, and expressed her love before wishing him a happy anniversary.

The Schmigadoon! alum recently released her single “When in Rome,” which she wrote as an ode to her romance with David in his home country. On the track, she sings about falling in love in Rome and suggests getting married to build a home.

David released his solo album Funny Little Fears in 2025.

Cameron and the rocker discussed their private life behind the scenes in an interview with Vogue Italia shortly before their wedding. The “Boyfriend” singer noted that internet users only witness major public appearances, such as an award acceptance in Malta, while overlooking months spent grocery shopping, cooking, and learning to use a new juicer.
