Double Dragon Trilogy Free on Mobile EGS for Android and iOS

Epic Games Store is keeping up its weekly giveaway tradition — now extended to mobile devices.

From October 9 to October 16, the Epic Games Store mobile app lets you download the Double Dragon Trilogy collection for free.

The release comprises re-releases of three cult classic beat ’em up arcade titles — the original Double Dragon (1987), its sequel The Revenge (1988), and the third entry The Rosetta Stone (1990).

Developer DotEmu has adapted the classics for modern mobile hardware. The collection includes two modes — Arcade and Story. Arcade delivers the traditional format, where players attempt to score as many points as possible within a time limit, while Story lets you progress through a campaign with levels unlocked gradually.

The release supports gamepad input and offers full customization of on-screen touch controls. There are also three difficulty settings — “Mobile” for newcomers, “Original” faithful to the arcade experience, and “Expert” for seasoned players.

Additionally, the collection features both the original soundtrack and a refreshed version, and you can switch between them at will.

You can claim Double Dragon Trilogy until 18:00 (MSK) on October 16. The giveaway is available on Android worldwide and on iOS in EU countries.
