Don’t Breathe to get a third installment

The horror franchise Don’t Breathe is set to expand with a third installment, as confirmed by the original film’s creator, Fede Álvarez (Alien: Romulus).

Álvarez revealed that the script is already complete and announced that both Stephen Lang and Jane Levy are slated to return for the upcoming project.

The original Don’t Breathe debuted in 2016, following three teenagers who attempt to rob a blind veteran (Lang), only to find themselves being hunted in his home. The film was a massive commercial success, grossing $157 million worldwide on a budget of under $10 million. A sequel was subsequently released in 2021.
