September delivered a steady stream of fresh releases, and the closing week of the month kept that momentum going.
As summer fades into fall, several high-profile records arrived the week of Friday, Sept. 26, 2025. Doja Cat returned with Vie, a record that leans back into her pop instincts and even reunites her with SZA on a follow-up to their Hot 100 hit — the new single is titled “Take Me Dancing.” Mariah Carey issued Here for It All, her first full-length since 2018’s Caution; the project features production from Anderson .Paak, who also appears with Carey in a flirtatious video that’s already prompted plenty of buzz.
Those two aren’t the only notable releases. Young Thug dropped UY Scuti, Olivia Dean expanded on the success of “Man I Need” with The Art of Loving, Rauw Alejandro returned with Cosa Nuestra: Capítulo 0, and Geese unveiled Getting Killed.
On the singles front, Tate McRae released “Tit for Tat,” her first official single since her sophomore album So Close to What reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in March 2025. Meanwhile, 5 Seconds of Summer reconvened after a multi-year hiatus to share “NOT OK,” a taste of their upcoming album Everyone’s a Star!
With October fast approaching, there’s plenty to listen to — and we want to know which release has your attention right now. Cast your vote in the poll below and tell us which record you’re most excited about as fall 2025 gets underway.
