Doja Cat and Adele were the subjects of the latest Billboard-centered matchups on VersusGame.
The recently completed showdowns included the following questions:
Will Adele’s “Easy on Me” score a second week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100?
Answer: Yes. The song holds at No. 1 on the Hot 100, dated Nov. 6.
Will Doja Cat have two simultaneous top 10s on the next Hot 100?
Answer: No. Doja Cat has one top 10 on the latest Hot 100, with “Need to Know.” The song rises 11-9, becoming her fourth career top 10. Prior single “Kiss Me More,” featuring SZA, helped make way for her new top 10, as it dips 10-12, after hitting No. 3.
As announced last week, Billboard and VersusGame have joined forces to bring music fans a one-of-a-kind, user-generated experience with games that test knowledge of pop culture for a chance to win prizes and monetize trend predictions. Billboard is hosting biweekly head-to-head challenges on entertainment and pop culture gaming app VersusGame, where fans can vote on their favorite artists and songs and wager on who will top the charts and more. In previous games, VersusGame data shows that fans have predicted correct chart outcomes 72% of the time so far.
To make predictions about your favorite songs and artists, you can download the VersusGame app on your mobile phone in the App Store, Google Play or at about.versusgame.com. Both of this week’s questions are now live on Billboard‘s Versus page and are open to play through Saturday, Nov. 6. This week’s questions are:
1) Ed Sheeran released his latest album = on Oct. 29. How many songs will he have in the top 40 of next week’s Hot 100: five or more, or four or less?
2) Megan Thee Stallion released the archival project Something for the Hotties on Friday, Oct. 29. Will it break the top 10 of next week’s Billboard 200: Yes or No?
