Nick Cannon already has 12 kids, but he’s in no rush to make it a baker’s dozen. In a Friday (Jan. 19) interview with People, the famously fertile actor-musician revealed that he’s slowing down his family-expansion efforts for the foreseeable future.

“I’m chilling right now,” he told the publication. “There’s no plans on the horizon as of yet.”

The 43-year-old Masked Singer host welcomed his youngest child, Halo Marie, with model Alyssa Scott in December 2022. The little girl was Cannon’s fifth child in the span of five months, following Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi in July 2022, Onyx Ice with LaNisha Cole and Rise Messiah with Brittany Bell in September 2022, and Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa in November 2022.

Cannon is also dad to twins Moroccan and Monroe, whom he shares with superstar ex-wife Mariah Carey; Golden Sagon and Powerful Queen, his son and daughter with Bell; twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir with De La Rosa; and Zen, his first child with Scott. The little boy passed away from brain cancer in December 2021.

“It’s so funny — everybody’s always trying to get me to have more kids,” he added. “It’s like, 12 ain’t enough?”

The Drumline star also addressed the topic in a November interview with Men’s Health, in which he said that he was simply “trying to be the best father and best provider” he could “possibly be.”

“People even often ask, ‘Are you gonna have more? You gonna stop?’” he added. “I’m like, those are questions that I don’t really even sit around and think about.”
