Wazen — a former Capcom developer — left the studio several years ago to concentrate on his own indie ventures.
His debut title, Assault Spy, launched on Steam to a positive reception. He is now working on a new anime-styled action game called Mightreya.
However, the release will be delayed. Wazen has said he needs additional time to complete development. Mightreya is envisioned as a fast-paced action game in which players control a superpowered heroine. While the project was originally expected sooner, the launch has been moved to the first half of 2026.
The developer emphasized that work is progressing smoothly and at a steady pace. The postponement is intended solely to refine the game and bring it to a polished, final state.
505 Games will publish the title. The release is planned for PC and will appear on Steam.
