Developers of Knight’s Path Face Criticism Over Female Character Proportions

Not everyone is ready to accept the developers’ vision.

Developers Jan Tichota and Aamn Chahrour recently provided another update on their project, Knight’s Path. It is an action RPG set in a grounded, low-fantasy world that has drawn the attention of many gamers not for its content or mechanics, but for the design of its female characters.

The creators previously shared several screenshots that drew the anger of activists, and their recent teaser was no exception.

In August, they showed a character in a dress:

Veronica. Born into a noble house that lost everything. Now Veronica serves Lady Elena, and her loyal cat is always by her side. Her attire changes depending on the situation: from work and travel to quiet time at home.

Blogger Pirat_Nation drew attention to user reactions to the Knight’s Path teaser, noting that the developers are facing criticism once again:

Some started criticizing Veronica’s body proportions, calling them unrealistic: "These breasts are too big for such a skinny girl. It just looks wrong."

The developers responded to those unhappy with the design by stating that women with naturally large breasts and slim waists exist in real life as well.

You can add Knight’s Path to your Steam wishlist via the following link. The developers have not yet specified a release date or launch window on the game’s page.
