Demi Lovato soared to new heights in celebrating her birthday, hosting a vibrant karaoke soirée where she delivered an astonishing rendition of Cynthia Erivo’s iconic anthem from Wicked.

In a TikTok video shared on August 20, Lovato magnificently channeled the Broadway star, belting the cinematic version of “Defying Gravity” at a bustling karaoke lounge. Draped in a plush black coat, she unleashed the powerful chorus as friends cheered and applauded in delight.

“It’s MEEEE.”

Marking her 33rd birthday, Lovato rang in a fresh chapter surrounded by her husband, Jutes, and close companions. Instagram snapshots from the celebration capture her beaming beside a decadent tiered cake and belting out Christina Aguilera’s “Keep On Singin’ My Song” and Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone.”

Admirers and friends flooded the comments with warm wishes. “Happy birthday, my beautiful baby,” Jutes wrote. “Love you so much.”

Wicked’s official Instagram applauded her performance: “Your battle cry was perfection. Have a thrillifying birthday!”

Lovato is now embarking on an exciting artistic phase, following the release of her dance-pop single “Fast” earlier this month. Insiders suggest she’s preparing a full-length pop album after dedicating her recent work to rock influences.
