Demi Lovato and Jonas Brothers to Lead ‘Camp Rock 3’ After 15 Years in the Making

Disney confirmed on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, that Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers will reunite for a third Camp Rock film. The studio has greenlit Camp Rock 3, and production has already started in Vancouver in mid-September 2025, according to the announcement.

Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas are set to return as the Gray brothers and will serve as executive producers alongside Lovato. The original ensemble will be joined by a new generation of young performers, including Liamani Segura, Malachi Barton, Lumi Pollack, Hudson Stone, Brooklynn Pitts and Ava Jean.

Maria Canals-Barrer, who originally portrayed Mitchie’s mother, is also slated to reprise her role, reconnecting the new installment with the franchise’s roots.

The first Camp Rock premiered on Disney Channel in 2008 and launched Lovato and the Jonas Brothers into mainstream fame. The pair reunited for a sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, in 2010, and the franchise has remained a touchstone of Disney Channel’s musical era.

Interest in the property spiked recently after Lovato surprised fans by joining the Jonas Brothers onstage in New Jersey to perform “This Is Me” and “Wouldn’t Change a Thing,” which gave the Camp Rock soundtrack a noticeable streaming bump. Around the same time, Joe Jonas had hinted that a third script existed during an appearance on Hot Ones Versus, inadvertently confirming development talk was already underway.

Following the studio’s formal announcement, the Jonas Brothers posted a playful clip from the Camp Rock set in which the trio lip-synced a scene from the original film, stoking fan excitement for the new movie.
