Available from 2017 on PC – before arriving the following year on Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch, in 2019 on iOS, and last summer on Android – Dead Cells now totals more than 3.5 million copies in the world. This is indeed what Motion Twin and Evil Empire are announcing through an official press release, where it is also indicated that the game will host a second paid expansion at the beginning of 2021. Called “Fatal Falls”, it will contain two new biomes (Fractured Shrines and The Undying Shores), a new boss, as well as additional weapons. Of course, we are promised that more details will be communicated later.
In the meantime, it is specified that “Fatal Falls” will cost € 4.99, an amount that will allow the continued deployment of free updates, and give Motion Twin a boost in the development of its mysterious project.
