DC Superhero Animated Movie Starring Robin to Be Released in 2028

Warner Bros. has officially scheduled the release of its upcoming animated feature, Dynamic Duo, for September 22, 2028.

The film explores the origin story of Robin, Batman’s iconic sidekick. The lead role of Dick Grayson will be voiced by How to Train Your Dragon star Mason Thames, with Lee Pace and Steve Buscemi also joining the voice cast.

Directorial newcomer Arthur Mintz is set to helm the project, working from a screenplay penned by Matthew Aldrich, known for his work on Coco. DC Studios co-head James Gunn has previously clarified that Dynamic Duo will stand as a standalone production, existing outside the continuity of the new DC Universe.
