DC Studios Releases Final Trailer for Body Horror Film Clayface

Less than a month remains before the premiere of the first horror film in the revamped DC cinematic universe.

DC Studios has released the final trailer for the horror film “Clayface”. The footage highlights the gruesome transformations experienced by actor Matt Hagen after he undergoes experimental treatment following an injury. Meanwhile, the studio continues to keep Clayface’s full form a secret. Director James Watkins previously explained that he does not want to show viewers the “shark” before the premiere.

Tom Rhys Harries stars in the lead role. Mike Flanagan wrote the screenplay, while Watkins cited David Cronenberg’s “The Fly”, “The Substance”, and Sam Raimi’s “The Evil Dead” as influences. The cast also features Naomi Ackie, Eddie Marsan, and Max Minghella.

“Clayface” will be part of the main DC cinematic universe and will hit theaters on October 23, 2026.
