Darren Aronofsky’s “Caught Stealing” Gets a Digital Release Date

The crime thriller “Caught in the Act” will hit digital platforms on September 30, according to the streaming guide WhenToStream.

Directed by Darren Aronofsky (Requiem for a Dream), the film premiered in late August and has earned $29.5 million at the box office. Set in 1990s New York, it follows bartender Hank (Austin Butler), who becomes unintentionally embroiled in criminal disputes and risks losing the people closest to him.

The cast also includes Zoë Kravitz, Matt Smith, Regina King, Bad Bunny, Liev Schreiber, Yuriy Kolokolnikov and Nikita Kukushkin* (designated a foreign agent). “Caught in the Act” is adapted from Charlie Huston’s novel of the same name, with Huston himself penning the screenplay. Critics have responded favorably — the film holds an 84% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
