Dark Device Repair Simulator Don’t Pick Up Releases Steam Demo

Developers have invited players to try out the project ahead of its full release.

In late September, studio Quarter Games and publisher Clover Bite announced the release of a demo for Don’t Pick Up. This is a new simulator where the creators invite players to step into the role of a repair specialist handling various devices.

During the repair process, the main character may uncover specific items:

You may stumble upon sensitive information during repairs. You will handle it appropriately, without discussion and without questions. Any [incidents] must be reported immediately through approved communication channels. Ignorance of current rules does not exempt you from responsibility. You will follow the rules at all times.

The developers of Don’t Pick Up stated that new government instructions will arrive every day, and players must keep track of them. The protagonist’s work will be subject to “strict monitoring,” and the team promises “routine inspections.”

A separate page has been opened for the Don’t Pick Up demo, and early reviews for the trial version are “positive,” holding a 100% rating after several dozen reviews.
