Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 Undergoes Reshoots Following Abrupt Cancellation
Principal photography wrapped just two months ago, when Marvel apparently expected to continue the story.
The team behind Daredevil: Born Again is preparing to return to the set two months after completing main filming on the third season. As reported by the Daredevil Shots account citing a published permit, additional shooting will take place in Brooklyn on September 30, October 2, and October 3. Stand-ins for lighting and camera setup are already being sought for these dates.

Marvel has not disclosed which specific scenes it plans to reshoot. However, media outlets speculate that the return to the set is tied to the recent decision to end the series after the third season. The creators may need to reshape the season’s ending into a final conclusion for the entire story and remove any setup for a continuation.
If this assumption is correct, the decision to cancel Daredevil: Born Again was made relatively recently, after principal photography had already finished. A similar fate previously befell the second season of Wonder Man, though it was canceled much earlier during the scriptwriting stage.
The third season of Daredevil: Born Again is expected to premiere on Disney+ in the spring of 2027.
