Renowned actor Danila Kozlovsky has stepped behind the camera to helm a new romantic musical titled “From London With Love,” according to Deadline.
Kozlovsky also takes on a leading role in the feature, starring alongside Bridgerton breakout Sabrina Bartlett and Harriet Slater (Outlander: Blood of My Blood). Principal photography on the project has already concluded.
The narrative centers on a disillusioned composer struggling with a creative block who finds an unexpected spark of romance with an emergency services dispatcher. Kozlovsky co-authored the screenplay in collaboration with Marc Aston.
This production marks Kozlovsky’s directorial debut in the English language. His previous filmmaking credits include the dramas Coach and Chernobyl, and he is also known to international audiences for his performance in Vampire Academy.
While a definitive release date for “From London With Love” has yet to be revealed, Kozlovsky can currently be seen on the big screen in the comedy Fire Zhora, which premiered this week.
