Dan Houser Denies Involvement in Writing the GTA 6 Script, Shares His Expectations

Over the course of his career, the Rockstar co‑founder has helped develop numerous games.

Dan Houser has departed from Rockstar Games. He previously contributed to virtually every Grand Theft Auto project, so many people assumed he might have been involved with the new title as well.

However, Dan Houser recently said he did not take part in writing the script for GTA 6:

“I wrote the scripts for ten or eleven GTA games. I suppose the world has probably had enough GTA from me. Each game tells a new story. GTA 6 will not be a story I wrote, nor will it include characters I created, but I think it will be gripping. The game will be excellent, I’m sure.”
