Daft Punk have shared the storyboards from their 1997 “Around the World” music video. The original clip was directed by Michel Gondry, who would go on to helm films like Eternal Sunshine for the Spotless Mind as well as visuals for the likes of Massive Attack, Björk, Radiohead, and many more. “Around the World” appeared on Daft Punk’s iconic debut album Homework. The duo first issued the storyboard video on the 1997 DVD release of D.A.F.T. Check out the storyboards in the clip below.
In February 2021, Daft Punk announced their breakup with an 8-minute video titled “Epilogue.” Earlier this year, they announced a deluxe vinyl reissue of Homework, which arrives Friday (April 15). The duo’s final album Random Access Memories arrived in 2013.
