Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Season 2 and The Apothecary Diaries Top Most Anticipated Fall Anime List

The return to Night City and the new adventures of Maomao and Jinshi pulled far ahead of their closest competitors.

Anime Corner published an audience rating of the most anticipated new releases for the fall anime season. The poll, which ran from September 9 to September 24, included 7,601 participants. The votes were distributed as follows:

1. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Season 2 – 16.42%
2. The Apothecary Diaries Season 3 – 15.16%
3. Blue Box Season 2 – 6.29%
4. Black Clover Season 2 – 5.47%
5. Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague Season 2 – 4.30%
6. Firefly Wedding – 3.30%
7. Reincarnated as a Sword Season 2 – 3.24%
8. Dragon Ball Super: Broly – 3.09%
9. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run – 3.05%
10. The Detective Is Already Dead Season 2 – 2.83%

The two leaders bypassed their closest competitors by a wide margin, with The Apothecary Diaries Season 3 launching on October 2 and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Season 2 releasing on October 20.

Meanwhile, several highly anticipated sequels remained outside the top ten. These include the final fourth season of Tokyo Revengers, which also premieres on October 2, and the third season of Ranma ½, which debuts on October 3.
