Those who can’t get sufficient of Cyberpunk 2077 will have the ability to get pleasure from an anime known as Cyberpunk: Edgerunners on Netflix subsequent 12 months.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is an anime coming to Netflix in 2022, and it was produced by CD Projekt Red and animated by Japan-based animation firm, Studio Trigger.
The group at CDPR has been engaged on this new collection since 2018.
Hiroyuki Imaishi (Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill, Promare) will direct the collection together with assistant director Masahiko Otsuka (Gurren Lagann, Promare).
The artistic director is Hiromi Wakabayashi (Kill la Kill), the character designers are Yoh Yoshinari (Little Witch Academia , BNA: Brand New Animal) and Yuto Kaneko (Little Witch Academia), and the tailored screenplay is by Yoshiki Usa (S SSS.GRIDMAN, Promare) and Msahiko Otsuka (Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill, Promare).
The unique rating will likely be composed by Akira Yamaoka identified for the Silent Hill collection.
“We are so excited to finally reveal that we are working on an anime in the Cyberpunk world,” stated Adam Badowski, Cyberpunk 2077 game director and CDPR head of studio.
“We’ve devoured just about all the cyberpunk fiction there is to watch, read, and play; it’s a genre that leaves so much room for creativity, and has had such a strong influence on us. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is our love letter to cyberpunk as a whole, and to stories told in animated form.”
