Cyberpunk 2077’s World Revealed After 4 Years — Player Zooms In and Discovers Cardboard Cars in Night City
Admiring the city’s beauty turned into the realization of Night City’s apparent artifice.
Years after its release, Cyberpunk 2077 still manages to surprise. Recently, a player drew attention to a technical choice made by CD Projekt Red.
Kamil_Montana took a bird’s-eye view of Night City and zoomed in tightly. While inspecting the traffic, he noticed the cars sliding along the roads and looking like flat, 2D shapes.
This ” discovery ” isn’t new to everyone. Some commenters noted that the effect — which reminded Kamil_Montana of NES-era racing games — has been present in Cyberpunk 2077 since its launch.
