Cyberpunk 2 Game Director Hints at Revealing V’s Story in Sequel
It seems CD Projekt RED still has plans for V.
Cyberpunk 2077’s quest director and the sequel’s game director, Paweł Sasko, recently spoke with the STN Studio channel.
When asked whether players would experience V’s story in Cyberpunk 2, Paweł was evasive: “I can’t say much about Cyberpunk 2, but you probably know the answer.”
One question explored their working method — which comes first, the character or the storyline? Paweł pointed to Judy Alvarez as an example:
“You know Judy from Cyberpunk 2077. At the very beginning we simply labeled her a ‘braindance technician,’ and for a long time that was essentially her entire profile. In other words, Judy initially existed in the narrative only as a ‘braindance technician’… and we didn’t even settle on her hairstyle during the first year.”
