Crimson Desert Update 1.12.02 Fixes Critical AMD GPU Bug
AMD RX 5000 users can now play in Full HD without crashing.
Pearl Abyss continues to refine Crimson Desert following the major 1.12.00 update. The studio released patch 1.12.02 to address several technical issues. These fixes ensure stable performance on AMD RX 5000 graphics cards, prevent crashes in photo mode after disabling HDR, and populate previously empty sea regions with fish.
The 1.12.02 patch notes include:
- Fixed a bug causing frequent crashes on AMD RX 5000 series cards at 1080p resolution.
- Fixed a crash triggered when using photo mode after disabling HDR.
- Resolved an issue where certain ocean regions incorrectly displayed a status of no fish available.
The developers have not announced a release date for the next update. Recent additions to Crimson Desert allow players to place items on land adjacent to their dwellings and use workbenches or looms to craft items in different locations.
