Crimson Desert Patch 1.17.00 Fixes Russian Localization and Mechanics
The developers have resolved several technical issues.
The creators of Crimson Desert have recently been active in releasing small hotfixes for the game. Now, they have introduced a full patch 1.17.00.
Patches are usually major updates, but in this case, the release offers only a set of technical fixes and localization improvements.
Developer Pearl Abyss stated that it fixed a bug where progress for the Desperate Rescue trial was not tracked correctly. Various localization bugs were also fixed, and text quality was improved for all languages.
In addition, the developers reported solving an issue with the character’s footsteps, which could overlap and interrupt the animation during movement. This problem should no longer occur.

Other changes in patch 1.17.00 for Crimson Desert:
- Fixed a bug where an unobtainable treasure chest icon appeared on the map.
- Fixed a bug where trade routes were displayed incorrectly on the map.
- Fixed a bug where another item was automatically added to the quick slot after using all the food assigned to it.
- Fixed a bug where the functions of special headwear did not work correctly in certain situations.
The developers did not share when they plan to release the next update for the game.
