Kicking off with an explosion of pink-blue colors shooting off into the sunset, Coldplay opened the 2021 Brit Awards on Tuesday (May 11) with an outdoor performance of their latest single, the ebullient, bright “Higher Power.”
Performing on a pontoon floating on the Thames near the O2 Arena, the British outfit was joined by six colorful, translucent holographic alien dancers, the same ones that appeared in their “Extraterrestrial Transmission” clip for the song.
