Code Vein 2 Coming in January — New Trailer and Release Date

At the PlayStation showcase, Bandai Namco unveiled Code Vein 2. The sequel to the dark, anime-styled action game looks superior to the original.

The game will transport players to a post-apocalyptic setting featuring intricate combat, spectacular moves, and a broader character customization system. Combat and cooperative play with companions remain central, but the project now promises more polished gameplay and a clearer structure.

The developers stress they do not intend to overhaul the core formula. Instead, they are expanding on the first game’s concepts: deepening encounters, enlarging the world, and enriching the story. Everything suggests Code Vein 2 will be one of Bandai Namco’s headline titles in 2026.

Code Vein 2 launches on January 30, 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
