Chvrches return this Friday (Aug. 27) with the new album Screen Violence. But first, the Scottish electro-pop outfit hit to our screens on Wednesday night (Aug. 25), with a rooftop performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Singer Lauren Mayberry materializes on a TV set, before emerging in the flesh, bathed in red light for a dynamic rendition of the song “Good Girls.”
There was no violence on this screen.
Screen Violence is Chvrches’ fourth studio album, and the followup to 2018’s Love Is Dead, which peaked at No. 7 in the U.K. and No. 11 in the U.S.
