Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell, who took his life last year, has been memorialized by artist Nick Marra in a life-sized bronze sculpture. The statue, which is now on view at Seattle’s Museum of Pop Culture (previously referred to as the Experience Music Project), depicts Cornell holding an electrical guitar and reaching as much as the sky. The paintings was commissioned by Cornell’s spouse Vicky. Soundgarden’s Kim Thayil, Ben Shepherd, and Matt Cameron additionally attended the revealing ceremony.
