Chris Cornell Retrospective Album and Box Set Announced, Stream Previously Unreleased Track 'When Bad Does Good'

Chris Cornell’s profession will probably be celebrated with the discharge of an album and retrospective field set later this 12 months, that includes the late rocker’s contributions with Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of the Dog and solo cuts. 

A brand new 17-track self-titled album and a restricted version 62-track field set is within the works, the Chris Cornell Estate has introduced. Both are set for launch Nov. 16 and can function the brand new single “When Bad Does Good,” which may be heard beneath. 

The monitor was produced, recorded, and blended by Cornell and was unearthed from the grunge icon’s recordings archive. Cornell’s widow Vicky is behind the brand new album Chris Cornell, which is able to function two unreleased tracks, and the four-disc field set, which is able to include 11 unreleased tracks.

“Since Chris’ sudden passing I have put all my efforts and energy into sharing his music and legacy with his fans from all over the world,” explains Vicky in a press release.  I felt we wanted to create a particular assortment to symbolize all of him – the pal, husband and father, the danger taker and innovator, the poet and artist.  His hovering vocals discovered their manner into the hearts and souls of so many.  His voice was his imaginative and prescient and his phrases have been his peace. This album is for his followers.”

Chris Cornell’s fourth and last solo studio album, Higher Truth, was launched in September 2015, simply 4 months after the vocalist’s premature demise, aged 52.
