Charli XCX and George Daniel Marry Again in Sicily

Charli XCX and George Daniel — the 1975 drummer — renewed their marriage vows in an intimate ceremony over the weekend in the rustic Sicilian village of Scopello. The couple, who first married privately at Hackney Town Hall in London on July 19, celebrated again surrounded by a small circle of friends and collaborators.

According to People, attendees included Daniel’s bandmates Matty Healy, Ross MacDonald and Adam Hann, members of the 1975’s touring ensemble, and Healy’s parents, Denise and Tim Healy.

In the days leading up to the ceremony, Charli shared an Instagram snapshot from Sicily in which she is seated on Daniel’s lap, fueling speculation about the festivities. Her post captured the couple amid the island’s atmosphere, and Vogue described Charli’s look as a sheer, bias-cut ivory silk chiffon slip gown with delicate organza embellishments and trailing pearls.

The bride carried a loosely arranged bouquet of eucalyptus, pale blue florals and gypsophila. Daniel opted for a relaxed yet refined look in a griege suit, cream shirt and black Oxfords, skipping a tie. Friends on hand reportedly included Troye Sivan, Amelia Dimoldenberg, Devon Lee Carlson, Shygirl and Gabbriette.

The pair first began dating in 2022 and announced their engagement the following year. Their earlier, private London ceremony was attended by roughly 20 close family members and friends; for this Sicilian celebration, several of the 1975 members were present, with Matty Healy among those who joined the festivities.

A representative for Charli XCX had not provided a statement about the Sicilian ceremony at the time of reporting.
