Chappell Roan to Headline Laneway Festival’s 2026 Tour of Australia & New Zealand

Chappell Roan will travel to Australia and New Zealand early next year to headline St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival, marking her first national run across both countries.
Her Laneway debut comes as Roan’s profile continues to surge internationally. The day-long festival will open at Western Springs in Auckland and then move through the Gold Coast, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide before reaching Perth — bringing a coast-to-coast program of artists to southern hemisphere summer crowds.
Roan has been especially prominent on the airwaves Down Under: in January her single “Good Luck, Babe” claimed the No. 1 spot on triple j’s Hottest 100, earning the most votes ever recorded for a winning track and making her the first solo female artist to win with a debut and sole entry.
Founded in Melbourne’s New Caledonian Lane by Danny Rogers and Jerome Borazio, and now part of TEG’s live entertainment roster, Laneway has a reputation for spotting artists on the rise — early support that has preceded big breakthroughs for performers like Billie Eilish.
Laneway’s 2025 edition — which featured Charli XCX — drew massive crowds across multiple cities. Organizers say the 2026 lineup expands on that momentum: the festival will include more artists overall, a new East Coast stage and a substantial portion of acts making their Australian debuts.
Confirmed performers for Laneway 2026 include BENEE, Wolf Alice, Role Model and Wet Leg, among others.
Tickets: the general on-sale begins Sept. 24 at 10:00 AM AEST, following the festival’s pre-sale the day before. Sale times will be staggered by city; check the festival site for city-specific ticketing windows and purchase details.
