CDPR Unveils Transmogrification in The Witcher 3 Remaster and Songs of the Past Album

Developers have prepared a requested feature.

The release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered is approaching, and the CD Projekt RED team continues to publish various teasers.

The developers recently decided to showcase the transmog feature, which helps customize Geralt’s look by changing the appearance of gear while keeping the original stats:

Judging by the comments, many players are happy with this feature. They admit that they spent “years” installing mods so that the stats of their favorite gear would scale.

The release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered on PC and consoles is scheduled for September 29. Next year, the developers plan to release the story expansion Songs of the Past for the game.

CD Projekt RED announced that the official mini-album of music from the Songs of the Past expansion is already available on international streaming platforms (the list can be found at the following link).

The launch of the full-fledged new game The Witcher 4 is expected in 2028. According to the developers, this installment of the franchise will place a heavy focus on player choices and their consequences.
